Golden Globe Nominations 2011

Golden Globe Nominations 2011The Golden Globe nominations 2011 are announced. Most of the nominations are won by the British Drama ‘The King’s Speech’ which is about the King George VI when he declared the war of England with Germany. Drama ‘The King Speech’ has won seven nominations for 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards that include the Best Motion Picture category. Also from the Drama Colin Firth is nominated as the Best Actor for portraying the character of King George VI and Helena Bonham Carter is nominated as the Best Supporting Actress for portraying the role of Queen Elizabeth.
The movies ‘The Fighter’ and ‘The Social Network’ has also won 6 Golden Globe nominations 2011 each. For ‘The Social Network’, Jesse Eisenberg is nominated as Best Actor for drama for his role as Mark Zuckerberg who is the owner of Facebook.
Drama ‘The Social Network’ is also nominates in the category of Best Picture, David Fincher as the Best Director and Andrew Garfield as the Best Supporting Actor. The movie ‘The Fighter’ has won the nominations for Best Picture Drama, Mark Wahlberg for Best Actor drama, Mellissa Leo and Amy Adams as Best Supporting Actresses, Christian Bale as Best Supporting Actor and David O. Russell is nominated as Best Director.
The Golden Globe nominations 2011 for televisions are almost ‘Gleeful’. The television comedy ‘Glee’ has won five nominations that include Best TV series comedy, lovely Lea Michele for Best Actress, Mathew Morrison for Best Actor, Jane Lynch for Best Supporting Actress and Chris Colfer for Best Supporting Actor.
